چکیده

Objective: Using histology as the gold standard, this study aims to determine whether or not magnetic resonance spectroscopy can reliably diagnose malignant breast lesions. Study Design: Cross-sectional Place and Duration: Conducted at department of Radiology Central Park Medical College, Lahore. Duration was 6 months from October 2021 March 2022. Methods: This research included 75 females. Malignancy-suspicious palpable lesions were included. Patients completed a consent form admitting hazards before any data gathered. The kinematics morphology dynamically enhanced (MRS) images studied. MRS's choline peak (Cho) utilized detect cancer. Single-voxel technique employed evaluate MRS' diagnostic accuracy in MRS biopsies compared. Data analyzed using SPSS 24.0. Results: Malignant found 65 (86.7%) patients by MRS, 58 (77.3%) cases according histological findings. most frequently showed ductal enhancement peripheral morphology. results 78% specificity, 85% accuracy, 90% sensitivity, 75% NPV, 91% PPV. Conclusion: must be because its better characterizing lumps. is specific, sensitive, effective for Keywords: Accuracy, Magnetic (MRS), lesion, Histopathology,

Architectural Design to Characterize Malignant Breast Lesion

Breast cancer, the second-leading cause of cancer deaths in American women, is the disease women fear most all over the world. Efficient technique for medical diagnosis is defined to provide better chance of a proper treatment. In this paper, we present a new parallel processing architecture to perform medical detection that uses multiple ultra-sono-graphic features and a diagnostic algorithm f...

Modeling Breast Acini in Tissue Culture for Detection of Malignant Phenotype Reversion to Non-Malignant Phenotype

Backgrounds: Evidence is accumulating to support disruption of tissue architecture as a powerful event in tumor formation. For the past four decades, intensive cancer research with the premise of “cancer as a cell based-disease” focused on finding oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes. However, the role of the tissue architecture was neglected. Three dimensional (3D) cell cultures which can recap...

Automated non-mass enhancing lesion detection and segmentation in breast DCE-MRI

Non-mass enhancing lesions (NME) constitute a diagnostic challenge in dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) of the breast. Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) systems provide physicians with advanced tools for analysis, assessment and evaluation that have a significant impact on the diagnostic performance. Here, we propose a new approach for the specific problem of NME detec...

Detection of Toxoplasma gondii DNA in Malignant Breast Tissues in Breast Cancer Patients

Breast cancer is the most prevalent malignancy in women throughout the world. Similar to other cancers, a strong relationship between breast cancer and environmental factors such as infectious agents has been reported. Toxoplasma gondii is a protozoan parasite which may play a role in cancer induction. The present study aimed to investigate a possible association between a history of T. gondii ...
